Product Description (400kV)

This high-voltage module is based on Tesla coil technology and produces high-voltage pulse currents. It features a compact design, high efficiency, and a simple setup — just connect a switch and battery to operate. The module produces powerful electrical discharges.

Specifications

  • Input Voltage: DC 3V–6V
  • Input Current: 2A–5A
  • Output Type: High-voltage pulse current
  • Output Voltage: Approx. 200,000V (use with extreme caution)
  • Arc Distance: 10–20mm
  • High-Voltage Output Wire Length: Approx. 100mm
  • Input Power Cable Length: Approx. 100mm (red wire = positive)
  • Dimensions: 24mm × 64mm

Power Supply Options

Compatible with:

  • Single 3.7V lithium battery
  • Two lithium batteries in series (e.g. 18650 batteries)
  • Mobile phone batteries (protection board removed, recommended capacity above 2000mAh)
  • NiCd/NiMH battery packs
  • 4V or 6V lead-acid batteries

This is a fully assembled high-voltage inverter transformer/booster module designed for scientific and experimental use. When supplied with DC 3V–7.2V input voltage, the module can generate approximately 200,000V DC output, producing arcs around 1–2cm long.

Note: This module does not have an ignition function and is not intended for lighting cigarettes or similar items.

Wiring Instructions

  • Red wire: Positive power input
  • Output: Two heat-resistant, high-voltage silicone wires

Product Description (1000kV)

This compact high-voltage inverter module is designed for scientific experiments, educational demonstrations, and electronic projects. Using Tesla coil principles, it generates high-voltage pulse currents with high efficiency and strong discharge performance.

Specifications

  • Size: 26mm × 88mm
  • Input Voltage: DC 3.7V–6V
  • Output: High-voltage DC pulse output
  • Application: Science experiments, electronic instruments, negative ion generators, and other high-voltage projects

The module is simple to operate and requires only a battery connection to generate a high-voltage arc.

Important: This is not a high-temperature arc and cannot be used to light cigarettes.

Wiring Instructions

  • Red wire: Positive input
  • Green wire: Negative input
  • Output: Two high-voltage wires of the same color

Once connected to a suitable battery, the module will generate a high-voltage arc.

Recommended Power Supply

Compatible with:

  • Single 3.7V lithium battery
  • Two lithium batteries in series (such as 18650 batteries)
  • Mobile phone batteries (with protection board removed, recommended capacity above 2000mAh)
  • NiCd/NiMH battery packs
  • 4V or 6V lead-acid batteries

For the best performance, a 6V power supply is recommended.

Safety Notices

  1. Avoid powering the module without a load. Before turning it on, adjust the gap between the high-voltage output wires appropriately.
  2. When testing arc distance, start with a small gap and gradually increase it. Excessive arc distances can damage the module because the energy cannot discharge properly.
  3. This module generates significant heat and is not designed for continuous operation. Continuous use should generally be limited to under 10 seconds.
  4. To determine whether your battery can provide sufficient power, measure the battery voltage while the arc is active. A stable voltage around 6V indicates suitable performance.
  5. Small-capacity lithium batteries may experience large voltage drops during operation. For best results, use batteries rated at 2000mAh or higher, with 4000mAh+ recommended for optimal performance.
